The millionaire fair-series I think reminds us about the polarized society: how some people build a personal empire for their safety by adding costly material around themself, which then needs to be protected. Some of the pictures also show vulnerability in a specific situation: for example the two women amidst expensive interior contemplating a cigarette _ the classic tool for feeling safe in groups.
